Crafting My Narrative
I’m Maria Jose, a graphic designer and storyteller from Chile. A simple belief guides me: Beauty is everywhere, and it’s in the details we often overlook. With its contrasts and flow, nature has always been a quiet muse. Its textures, colors, and harmony speak to me in a language of balance and chaos. These moments, these observations, shape my approach to design.
For me, design is not just about making something look good—it’s about creating work that resonates. Whether designing a visual identity, crafting intuitive user experiences, capturing a fleeting moment through photography, or letting my hands and brush guide me through a painting, each project is an opportunity to connect. It’s about creating something authentic that invites people to pause, feel, and reflect.
I believe in the power of intention. Every decision in my work is driven by a desire to create something more than visually appealing—it’s about experiences and visuals that uplift, inspire, and give back. Design, for me, is a form of self-care, not just in the spaces we create but in the energy we invest into every detail. It's about moments that allow us to breathe, find joy, and nurture the soul.
While my creative work is at the heart of everything I do, I also bring a strategic perspective honed through my business administration and marketing studies. This blend of creativity and strategy allows me to approach projects holistically, balancing artistic vision with practical impact.
Every project holds a piece of my intention, my story, and my belief that design can transform how we feel and connect with the world.
